Please call the office at 518-672-7004 to schedule, cancel or change an appointment, request refills on medications that Dr. Hertle has ordered,* or for other questions or concerns. You may leave a message anytime at this number, but please remember that the office is only open regularly on Mondays and Thursdays, and a receptionist is only there until 1:00 PM on those two days. If you leave a message after 1:00 PM, when a receptionist is no longer available, your message will not be heard until the next
day the office is open. However, established patients can always reach Dr. Hertle for urgent concerns by leaving a message on her cell phone, and she will be happy to return the call.

If there is an urgent matter that you need help with at any time when the office is closed or a receptionist is not available, you may leave a detailed (please!) voice message on Dr. Hertle’s cell phone: 518-929-2778. Dr. Hertle will try to call you back as soon as she is available. Please remember that mobile phone service in this area is unreliable at best. If you do not receive a return call within half an hour, please call back and try again. Established patients may also leave a message on Dr. Hertle’s home phone: 518-672-7448, but be aware that it is often not checked until late at night.

The office will be closed on most school holidays and for the month of August, but Dr. Hertle will remain available to return calls during these times (with specific dates and instructions to reach her available on the office answering machine at 518-672-7004).

Please note that the web page, drhertle.com is for general practice information only. Dr. Hertle does not communicate with patients through the internet. All communication is done directly in person, by phone, or in writing. No patient data or information is transmitted, received or distributed from or to this office through the web.

*Medication refill requests should be submitted a week in advance since the office is only open M & Th. Prescriptions and refills will be hand written or called out. Please remember that Dr. Hertle needs to know the name of the medicine, the dose, the amount you usually get, your name and birth date, and the pharmacy name and phone number to process your request.
