The Ita Wegman Family Health Center is a small, independent, holistic anthroposophical family practice located 1½ miles west of Harlemville in Ghent, NY. Patients of all ages are welcomed for the care of:

In a world that runs on a time-clock, where the genius of individual inspiration and the uniqueness of each personal situation have been pushed aside by a mass-produced factory approach to one-size fits none (and we all have to make do), Dr. Hertle attempts to maintain some of what is irreplaceable in the small old-world system where individuals can still be listened to, be seen and be heard. She sees each patient that comes in for an appointment herself and does all of the patient teaching and education (rather than utilizing support staff to communicate what needs to be explained).
